Using the favorites button you can save the perfect combination of settings such as power level and timer. You can also add hood lighting controls for a matching hood. Simply connect your hob to your Home Connect account and start your day easily.

Control the hood from the stovetop.

Control the hood functions via the cooktop. Both the cooktop and the associated hood are equipped with a Wi-Fi module, enabling them to interact. As soon as your hob is turned on, the extractor fan also turns on and starts releasing annoying steam as soon as you start cooking. When you're done cooking, the hood will automatically turn off after a short period of operation, so you can be sure that unpleasant kitchen odors will truly disappear. If you want to control the hood directly, simply activate manual mode on the cooktop controls at the touch of a button. You can then control the power level of the hood via the user interface on the cooktop. In addition to the extraction capacity, you can also control the hood lighting via the cooktop. With one set of controls you control everything: cooktop and hood.

Speed up your cooking.

If you want to get quick and easy meals on the table even faster and faster, Power Boost can help you with this. This practical function increases power and enables extremely fast heating. Use it on an induction hob to boil large amounts of water and heat up to 35% faster compared to the highest power level.

Take a break.

Does anything else sometimes require your attention while cooking? Now you can pause the heating and lock all the buttons on the hob. It doesn't matter if the doorbell rings, someone rings, or you just want to clean the glass surface in the meantime. Just continue cooking after 10 minutes at the latest.

Start cooking faster.

Do you want to start cooking quickly and intuitively? The quick start function detects where the pan is placed and automatically selects the appropriate cooking zone on the control interface when turned on. You can start right away and select the desired cooking level for your cookware without delay.

Stores control settings.

If something goes wrong or it boils over, the hob remembers the last selected setting for a few seconds. This means you can conveniently clean it and restore settings at the touch of a button.
