Description |
Hawker Hurricane Mk.I One of the most popular British fighters of the Second World War. It performed very well in action, facing off against German Messerschmitts. The shooting armament consisted of eight Browning 7.7 mm calibre machine guns. The model prepared by COBI is inspired by the colours of the Czechoslovak pilot and fighter ace Josef Frantiek, who flew in the famous 303 Squadron. Reproduced at a scale of 1:32, the aircraft features a movable propeller and ailerons. Its rotating wheels with rubber tyres can be pulled out of the undercarriage in the take-off or landing position. The pilot's cabin can be opened to put the carefully reproduced figure representing the heroic pilot of the 303rd Squadron (Josef Frantiek) at the controls. The aircraft has been covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. Stickers have been completely dispensed with in this set. The prints reproduce the painting and equipment of the aircraft from the period of the Battle of Britain in 1940. The set also includes a special stand to make the display of the model more attractive and a plaque with the name of the aircraft.
